"Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And Allah hears and knows all things." - Surah Baqarah, Ayat 256

About Me

My photo
Sumeyya
I like to learn new things and am open to different ideas -- in the belief that through having varied experiences and meeting different types of people, one can truly understand another's customs, beliefs, and ideologies. One doesn't necessarily have to accept them, but one can try to UNDERSTAND them. Through understanding, we may be able to get rid of the negative stereotypes we have of each other.

Divine Equality:

"For Muslim men and women, for believing men and women, for devout men and women, for true men and women, for men and women who are patient, for men and women who humble themselves, for men and women who give in charity, for men and women who fast, for men and women who guard their chastity, and for men and women who engage much in Allah's praise -- For them all has Allah prepared forgiveness and great reward" (Quran 33:55).
